Zohran for New York City
All I could recall were some of the last elections I've lived through, where it took days to count the votes. Hanging on edge, totally unable to focus, the kind of stuff that gives you ulcers. But this was decided within about a half hour of polls closing in NYC. 1 million votes for Zohran. And inspiring wins for the left around the country.
Deep breaths. It's still so weird that people get really nervous about electing anyone other than a rich, old, scandal-plagued white guy. I wonder what the next year will look like. For today I'm glad to see such pushback against authoritarianism at the polls.
